Te Hihi School Over the years there have been many cleaners through our school. None of them have been as thorough as Raj, Barbs and Raj's father (whose name escapes me unfortunately). When I came in during the holidays they were cleaning the ceiling and all the high ledges that probably hadn't been cleaned in years. The lino areas were all scrubbed and re-polished, ledges cleaned and sinks looked great. As soon as we walked into the buildings we could tell they had been properly cleaned as they smelled clean. At the end of the holidays, our admin block had been used by our holiday programme kids and was looking worse for wear. I was going to contact Raj to see if he would be kind enough to come in and give it a spruce up but before I had time to contact him, they'd been in and cleaned it. Raj and his family give us great service and I feel that when you have staff in your organisation that deserve praise, you should know about it. Many thanks and kind regards, Kevin Bush

Hi, Just a note to say, as of 9th Sept 2008, Crest will have been looking after our cleaning for one year. Our cleaning had been traditionally done for the last 30+ years by a employee working from 9am to 3pm - 5 days a week. Catholic Institute of Theology Kamal Jeet Singh owns the franchise for the cleaning of our building at 16 Waterloo Quadrant and has been contracted to clean Newman Hall twice weekly since June 2002. Kamal is an experienced cleaner and always performs his duties to a very high standard. Newman Hall is a very old building and not easy to keep looking clean and tidy but Kamal has consistently achieved this. On the occasions that I have met him Kamal has always been very pleasant, courteous and obliging to deal with and easy to communicate with. Other staff at CIT endorse this view.
