Rotorua Master Franchisee Bill Douglas and his team have established a great working relationship with the management and staff of Rotorua Boys’ High School. Recently Bill negotiated a renewal for Crest’s cleaningcontract at the school, which is to run for a second 3-year term.

Rotorua Boys’ High School is one of the most progressive colleges in NZ. The Principal, Mr Chris Grinter, has an outstanding reputation for his professionalism and leadership of the school. He administers the school in a very business-like manner; all suppliers and contractors know exactly what they have to do to meet the school’s high expectations. The school has a very bold development programme, which has seen the original character buildings refurbished and some impressive new buildings constructed.

The school’s technical department would undoubtedly be the finest in NZ. This facility has created a resurgence of interest in the technical trades like engineering and woodworking from the students.

Next February will see the completion of a brand new bathroom block, which is being constructed to a very high level of specification. Crest will provide a Janitorial Service for these new bathrooms, which will see Crest supply a roving attendant who will supervise the operation of the bathrooms during school hours. We feel that this is a great solution to encourage the students to respect these new facilities- they will have the privilege of them being maintained to a high standard of hygiene.
